Included in the plastic bags were various school supplies such as notebooks, pencils papers, markers, stuff like that. Most of the supplies were sent by OIC (Operation Iraqi Children), an organization started by the actor Gary Sinise. The Iraqi children just started school, most beginning right around September 15th. Needless to say, they have minimal supplies.
